EV charger installation in metro Atlanta
The Short AnswerSouthern Power Generators installs Level 2 electric vehicle chargers for homes and businesses across metro Atlanta. James Hill, a licensed Georgia Master Electrician, checks your electrical panel first, then installs the charger and circuit to code and handles the permit.
Charge at home
Wake up to a full battery
A Level 2 charger charges your car much faster than a regular wall outlet, so you can plug in at night and leave with a full battery.
It runs on a dedicated 240-volt circuit, so the most important step is making sure your electrical panel can handle it safely.
Panel check first
Done safely, done to code
On the site visit, James checks your panel's capacity, where the charger can go, and how far the circuit has to run. If your panel needs work first, he'll tell you plainly.
If you also have, or are planning, a standby generator, he'll make sure the two work well together.

Your generator questions, answered

Call or text us with the make and model, and we'll let you know.
Can my generator run my EV charger during an outage?
It depends on your generator size and what else is running. James can plan for it when he sizes your generator.

Yes. We pull it and schedule the inspection.
