Meet the Hill family
Your neighbors in Decatur
We're James and Michelle Hill, and we live and work right here in DeKalb County. We started Southern Power Generators so families across Atlanta could count on one honest, local team for backup power.
James is a licensed Georgia Master Electrician. He works every lead himself, walks every home, sizes every generator and does the electrical work on every install.
Michelle keeps everything else on track: the schedule, the permits, the ordering and the paperwork. If you've talked to us about a permit or an install date, you've probably talked to Michelle.
The people who show up at your home
Every install is done by our own family and crew. No subcontractors, no strangers.
On the job
Trenching, pads, wiring and gas lines. This is what a Southern Power Generators install looks like.
Service after the sale
Our sister company, Southern Power Experts, is run by Michelle's dad, Ed Holgate. They handle generator maintenance, warranty work and repairs, so once your generator is in, it stays in good hands. Schedule a service with them.
